Favorite golf club in the bag? – “My putter! I have always been a very good putter, and I love to help others learn how to putt better (practice, practice, practice!). But my current driver is a good one too.”

Favorite San Diego area golf course? – “Tough one…got to go with Torrey South for one, it is tough but also very, very fair. The other would be Goat Hill Park in Oceanside. You really have to learn how to control your iron shots there. If you can play well at The Goat, you can usually play well anywhere.”

Dream Foursome? – “Let’s see. My Dad, for sure. Arnold Palmer. Let’s add Coach Wardrup into the mix!”

Best Golf Memory? – “Once again, have to go with 2 answers here…Father’s Day 2010, my daughter Kelsey caddied for me on a perfect Irish summer day at Lahinch Golf Club in southwest Ireland. The course was basically empty, and it was just her and I for 18 holes. Magical. The second would be attending the 2012 Masters Tournament as a guest of one of the Members, being able to eat inside the clubhouse and be inside the ropes. Tough to top.”

“Working with the Lancer golfers has been the most rewarding and enjoyable “job” I have ever had. It is great to see their passion for the game, and to watch them grow and mature as golfers and young men. Coach and I will always work hard to help them achieve their goals.”
