Meet Coach Kaylin

Kaylin was born and raised in Oceanside, CA and began dancing at Dance Unlimited at the age of 3. Kaylin was trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical, dancing competitively for over 10 years. Kaylin was a 4 year member of El Camino High School's Cheerleading Team, as well as El Camino High School's Dance Team where as captain, she began to choreograph. She then went on to receive her BA in Political Science Administration with a focus in Business and Society from the University of California, Riverside. During her time at school, she was on UCR's dance team for 2 years while also serving as Vice President of her sorority. Kaylin choreographed competitive solos and group pieces at Artistic Expression Dance Studio from 2015-2019. Kaylin began dancing for minor league sport teams and eventually made her way to the NFL as a Los Angeles Chargers Cheerleader. Currently, Kaylin works full-time in government and attends SDSU, pursuing a masters degree in Public Administration. 

Kaylin has a true passion for dance and gets inspired every time she gets the opportunity to share it with her students. The 2022-2023 season will be her 5th year as the Xcalibur Coach. After leading Xcalibur to their first national title in 2021, Kaylin is so grateful to continue working with this amazing program.
